Israel

Israel is a country in Western Asia on the eastern Mediterranean. It is bordered by Lebanon to the north, Syria to the northeast, Jordan to the east and southeast, Egypt to the southwest, and the Gaza Strip to the west. The official language is Hebrew, but English and Arabic are also widely spoken. The capital is Jerusalem and the most populous city is Tel Aviv.
